Very nice jazak Allahu khayranMashallah
I listen to this as it helps me brush on on my Somali:
Remember the days when Muslims would pray Tarawaeh in silence at the haram, each man and woman having their alone time with the Lord , now your good deeds are televised in ostentatious fashion, for the whole world to see.
"Alladheena 'an salaatahim saahuun"
Alladheena hum yuraa' uun
'Those who's prayer is nothing but saahuun
Those who are looked upon {enjoy being watched}
Subxanallah.
Taraweeh isn't meant to be silent. If you want silence, you can pray at home by yourself. As for the mosque it's meant to be out loud.
So nothing should be ever be recorded or televised? No Islamic talks, no recitations of the Qur'an, no prayers? Lol what an obtuse comment to make.
Only Allah knows their intentions, you need to sit down and listen to the Qur'an. What is it with Somalis and negative comments?
I never said nothing shouldn't be televised, quran and lectures are fine but what do we get from watching believers pray? And what do believers get from being watched? Is not the salah for Allah?
I did not call for everything to not be televised don't play with words, my point was acts of worship done by believers do not need to be televised, doing so only facilitates the conditions in which riyya can grow in the heart.
