I hardly saw cattle in Mudug and nugaal regions, cattle generally need lots of water and grassland to survive0 cattle in Sool, sanaag , Nugaal etc seems a bit weird
Yep. The environment in most parts of Somalia is prohibitive to cattle herding.I hardly saw cattle in Mudug and nugaal regions, cattle generally need lots of water and grassland to survive
Gedo is very urbanized when compared to other provinces of its size but it still retains its nomadic population.I wasn’t expecting Gedo, Hiiran and Bakool to have the most camels. Are those regions less urbanized than the rest of Somalia, with more people living nomadic pastoral lifestyles than other regions?
