Like I genuinely wake up confused on how I got here in the first place… Mind you I was born here! But I can’t help this spot in the back of my mind telling me I don’t belong there and me being there is unnatural. Funnily enough when I went to Somalia I didn’t feel there either lol.

Like I live in Canada and walk past people protesting for a whole other country, I see diverse people everyday but I feel like I shouldn’t? It’s like when you gain consciousness about technology and realize that there should be no way you can see another person through an led screen..

The way the US is moving, I don’t see a future life here tbh, I think they are just experimenting by doing all these deportations to send away non caadan ppl they don’t want. It’ll be like another version of Jim Crow

I’m the opposite it feels like home to me I love the fact that I’m in a country built by immigrants everyone has a story about how their family left their country to come to the big league and chase their dreams it makes me feel like a small part of something big. I think this is all linked to covid and the west is gearing up for conflict with China. I also noticed a rise in racism as soon as China became a superpower. Indians also for some reason care too much what Canada thinks about them. I seen an Indian man harassing an elderly white woman who was racist, like the hell do you care what she thinks? She is old and senile. She was scared of him getting angry to her. My friends who are Indian are depressed/suicidal over the rise of racism, it was like they got demoted from feeling Western, educated and privileged to getting their pride kicked down. I feel bad for them, as we never lost status, lmao we stayed the same.
