Loanwords

I've noticed in regular speech loanwords aren't that common, but in technical speech, for example politics, the number of loanwords skyrocket.

Is this because we're just too lazy to make up words for foreign concepts? What happened to eray bixin?

This is true in most languages.

The more academic or technical things become, the more universal words become.

In Spanish, French, Italian etc, all the academic high end words are similar, while the low end everyday colloquial words are very different.
