I'd expect Somalis to be welcoming since they are present in every corner of the globe.
At first they wouldn't care, but like other countries in the west, when the numbers and levels of immigrants gets to enormous numbers people will be fed up and will be angry.
That's why I can understand, some people who want to put, a limit on immigration in Europe.
But America - all of her people there (expect for the native Indians) are descended from immigrants, they have no right to turn any away it's not even their land!

No they mind lot since they have high rate of unemployment, drought and nomad families had passed away from hungry this month. The nomad lost majority of their living stocks.
Somali does not that have the infrastructure to hold them .they are already struggling with a few oromos ,what makes you think they would be welcoming thousands of immigrants .?you do talk a lot of nonsense.it is not about Sunni,Shia or Rastafarian .somalis would not accept those immigrants due to pure economics .(scarce rescources ). Immigrant in the west is a different phenomena if that is where you were going with this .

More immigrants mean bigger cities, more businesses that will employ more people, diversity in trade and lifestyle meaning better food, more food stability and such, more genetic diversity and just improvements overall. You're pretty much advocating for more immigration.
I could understand if you wanted to be greedy if Somalia was rich, but it's absolutely the opposite. We need more new people.
Oromo farmers, asian entrepreneurs and everyone one else who can contribute to Somalia should be allowed to come. America only got bigger and better through immigrants that worked hard.

Right now they are having several drought which lead to death poor people and lost of livestock. In cities the people have 70% unemployment rate. The states are in war like GL vs PL, SL vs khatumo & Awdal states. ISIS took over town and al shabab is taking towns in south. So, you are just ignorant kid who doesn't know anything about reality of Somalia.

Bring in Ethiopian farmers, experienced fishermen, Arab farmers, entrepreneurs to start more businesses and so on. Somalia is lacking infrastructure, jobs in the food sector but still has high unemployment and major food insecurity. How all of those are possible at the same time possible is beyond me. Obviously Somalis need other people with trades and skills useful to us.
You need to get on with the times.

You are out of reality here, Somalis are best entrepreneurs in Africa, we have already farmers without land, Somali fishermen all we need is investment which would not happen unless you fix the security and end the terrorism (which the last presidents failed in it) instead of importing workers to countr, train your own people. Already we have our own traders and everyday new trade schools are opened but since you are out of reality in Somali matter. The root of problems is the unqualified last 2 presidents who failed in improving the security.
