Looking for Information on Manchester City UK

I plan to travel there and stay for more than a week. So tell me about good restaurants run by somalis, pakistanis, afghans, Italians, Greeks etc. Family friendly restaurants.

Also, is it worth renting a car? Is parking available on streets?

I've visited plenty times. The only Somali place I remember was a small take away (but food is great) near Princess Street. Not far from Moss Side.

There are many South Asian, Arab restaurants take aways/Shisha spots on Wimslow road.

If you're after more Italian, Greek etc it's all in the city centre which is reasonable to walk around and google.

Thanks. Arab and Asian restaurants are as good as Somalis, so these will do inshallah. Do you know of hotels that have rooms with a kitchen? I travelled for work within the US and stayed at hotels that had rooms with a Kitchen where you can cook. I like to buy groceries and cook for myself, or make light food before I go to work.

I was hoping to find the same accomodation there in Manchester Uk. I googled hotels with rooms that come with Kitchen, but nothing came up in the search as such.

Also, I must go to a nearby city to Manchester and wondered if I can find parkings for a rental as I drive around in Town. In America, we heavily rely on private cars. I know European countries have good public transit that are reliable unlike the US. So I was curious if public parkings are available there in Manchester around businesses.
