They didn't lol. They were assisted by the Ethiopians and Galmudug. Somaliland does have the capability if we recruit 200 thousand troops, train them and give them sophisticated weapons and bribe southern Somali tribes into working with us then we can take over the south just like Tigray did to Ethiopia a group that is a tiny minority in Ethiopia. The problem is we don't have the money and resources to do that but if we did then it would be very easy.
