Do the coins of the Sultanate of Mogadishu say anything about the dynasty to which the Sultan belongs?
Yes most likely. He is the same person named in this text.
@Garaad diinle Is there a dynasty mentioned other than Fakhr al-Din and Muzaffar?Yes most likely. He is the same person named in this text.
That being said it's not easy to identify every single person named in these coins after all there are more than 5000 coins with more than 20 names of rulers and stretching for more than 500 years. To put it in perspective the yaqubi imams dynasty were founded 1600s but they have less than 20 imams. Same goes for many somali ruling dynasties that were founded around that time while these coins have more than 20 names.
According to reer xamar there were a number of dynasties and i think you've already read about them in caydaruus's book but these coins don't mention the names of dynasties. They only mention the names of rulers.@Garaad diinle Is there a dynasty mentioned other than Fakhr al-Din and Muzaffar?
