No I mean I know East Hararge belongs to us, I'm wondering which other regions now considered under Oromia that belong to us and still inhabited by Somalis.

Only part of East Hararghe belongs to us (Jaarso and Babile woreda). Parts of Borana (particularly the town of Mooyale) and other areas are Somali but I do not know of their situation so I cannot speak on that.

Made a more through map here. DDS should 100% be able to demand a referendum on annexation in the woredas of Chinaksen, Jarso, Gursum, Babile, Fedis, and Midega Tola- and Cagjar could get it due to his deep personal bond with Abiy Ahmed. He should especially pay attention to groups that claim both identities- maybe promising them autonomy or land guarantees from Oromo expansion.

Honestly I have no idea why Somalis do not have a special woreda in Oromiyaa, the Argobba in the Afar region (a group of some 20,000 persons) and the Amhara region (30,000) both have full autonomy and a special woreda to themselves in both regions. Jigjiga could more easily push for this as it will face minimal opposition in Addis (The gov is controlled by Oromos after all!)

What is the goal of the Amhara ik OLF wants to secede but are Amhara on that timing too? That would be wild since Amhara are basically Ethiopia.

In brief, FANO wants Amhara rule in Ethiopia to be restored. Things like Amharic language primacy, Orthodox Christians having more rights then non-Orthodox Christians, Amharas owning large swaths of land in the south of Ethiopia and them settling it, basically they want everything that happened in Ethiopia after the year 1974 to go away.

Isn’t the current president Amharic and the only official language Amharic what more could these guys want?

Firstly, the title 'President of Ethiopia' does not hold the powers vested to it in the Constitution, that power has been held by the Prime Minister- an Oromo Muslim. Secondly there is currently 5 national languages- Amharic, Oromo, Tigrinya (Tigrayan), Somali, and Afar.

Then why don’t the Oromos just hold a referendum and dip out the country when they got the prime minister spot and they got the numbers to back up any moves they wanna make?
