Absolutely! Why did they recognize a state that controls a quarter of Mudug and not SSC which has plenty of room to operate in Sool and Sanaag.

In theory that would be the case however another half of the state us under Khawariij and the other half is split between MX and HG, HG themselves are already split between numerous presidential candidates so in practice Galmudug is limited to the area around the presidents hometown and Dhusmareeb.

Galmudug De Jure is 1.5 states but De Facto is just Dhusmareeb and outskirts

What is wrong with his statement? The 'maakhir' land is carved out of Puntland and interim ssc? With most of being from SSC.

SSC haven't made any effort towards becoming a recognised fms besides putting President Hassan Sheikhs picture up in their local govt offices. Warsangeli should be vp of this state instead they're lobbying in Xamar for non existent state maakhir.

They only govern Lasacanood district and half of Buuhodle district since the other half of that district is HJ land and there's no presence of Khaatuumo in Sanaag region

I just noticed i’ve never seen anything on the guy. Is the governor a relevant title in the north? This particular level of dysfunction and mess is reminding me of early Jubbaland.

The governor Badmaax isn't on board with Maakhir officially , he doesn't seem interested in stopping demonstrations or support of Maakhir. There is no official head of Sanaag from our front. Imo the official governor is Suldaan Siciid
