RIP UK economy.

First clear sign that their government wants to truly leave the single market. Expect the GBP the be slaughtered tomorrow and make a new low in the weeks to come.

Oz is extremely far away. Very little trade happens between the UK and OZ because of the distance. And Canada's market is pretty small compared to the EU.

Overall, it's going to be a dumbfuck move for the UK OR this is just some political manipulation (appear tough first and later on cave in).

In an ideal world, a union between the former colonies + the US would blow the EU out of the water, but that won't happen. There is however, a significant amount of trade between OZ and the UK (aroudn £6bn Australian exports to the UK and £10bn UK exports to Australia). This would obviously increase if there was a trade agreement between the two countries and Australia seems very keen on it.

It's so sad that we're left begging former colonies after such a major f*ck up I hope to god that it's just a bluff or I'm emigrating to some EU country before Brexit.

P.S. Munich was really nice. Such a clean city and organised city
