Meeting new relatives.

It's so awkward meeting relatives that you didn't know before. As kids when hooyo or Aabe told you, this is your cousin, you would automatically be inseparable, but as a adult it's so awkward, starting small talks, the awkward questionnaire conversations, how do you guys deal with meeting new relatives?

For me personally I have great friendship with all relatives. I like to think I am close friends with most of my female cousins since they give good advice on certain things.

It is not awkward at all to meet male cousins for the first time since there is many things we could talk about or I could just take them out and they could spend some time with me and my friends. However With female cousins it's not appropriate to do this so I try not to take myself too seriously or make meeting them awkward.
