Update: Ciidanii Eritrea have been deployed in Ruunirgood, Hilowla Gaab ,Ceel Bacad iyo Daaru Nicma. These villages are settled by Daauud Abgaal who fled from it. Isaaq Daa’uud are scared to fight with Khawaarijta so they refused to join the war while Yuusuf Daa’uud accepted it but they are not enough so that why they are depanding on non Abgaal troops since Abgaals cant fight.

Unfortunately for HSM there’s an uncomfortable truth that Middle shabelle militias have been useless in this fight or dragging their feet. Looks like he doesn’t have much ground support there unlike with the Xawadle and HG offensives.

In Aadan yabaal it took months of air strikes and eventually Sna being sent it and taking over operations completely. It became a joke on Somali social media of the clan militias being afraid of going in. And then when the offensive went to galcad and ruuni etc the Isaaq daud ran away from Shabaab losing control and leaving danab on their own without setting up any defences yet. HSM has decided he needs the Eritreans to make progress there. They even had clashes with the local deegaan militias after being ambushed.

UPD connected journos are saying HSM wants to disarm Middle shabelle militias with the Eritreans after this Shabaab offensive is complete. Mahad Salad has already started this in Xamar taking over checkpoints and shooting any SNA still resisting. We’ll see if this is successful as it will be resisted heavily
