Not only has this government increased its revenue year after year, it has made it transparent for anyone to research on the ministry of finance website, I can see from their side its just to showcase how much more they have increased budget, but this is what I call real governance, transparency, integrity and inclusion down the individual citizen.

This was in 2012 when they drilled only 2 wells. They're not the only two. The CEO of the majority stake firm from the article you posted even said :

“One should keep in perspective that it often takes a number of wells to find commercial hydrocarbons and we plan to continue our aggressive program to unlock the potential of this highly prospective region.”

The non Executive board member from Range Resources who went to Puntland, via the FT, then added:

"But Mr Edwards-Jones says the area is so vast he would need to drill 15 wells before he gave up hope". So there are 13 more wells they didn't touch lol

The minister most likely has more current data than from 2012.

The worst part was that the water was simply ignored. A large deposit of water if distilled could help the region.
