Minneapolis?

Hi, I'm a Somali-American (from Northern VA) who was raised abroad in the ME. I got into UMN-TC for undergrad and am considering attending. I don't know much about Minneapolis and so would like to know what you guys think of the place? Pros and cons?

Pros:
Somali culture

Somali food

Some cute young gazelles

City transportation system

So many lakes

Chicago 6 hours away

Major job opportunities

Cons:

Cold as F

Ignorant qaxootis at every corner

Folks up in your business

Locals hate your kind cause of them dam disrespectful fobs

Minneapolis is Somalia 2.0 with all of the Somali-Americans there and a shit-ton that go to UMN. Either you'll fit in acting like you are completely out of your mind with most of them (saying wallahi 50 times per minute) or join the clubs that matter to you to keep your sanity. You'll be in good hands.
