These senseless repetitive attacks on innocent civilians will not end until the locals in Mogadishu cooperate with security agencies.
Govt is to blame but so do the people, if people can't work with the govt then the end result will be the same.
Where are these Somali security forces we keep hearing that are being trained by UAE/Turkey etc.

I think Al Shabab has better intelligence than the government. When my mother went to Xamar a few years ago, she was paid a visit by a Al Shabab member and was told to stay away from one of the government officials that is a family friend of hers. Who told them this information.. who knows. She of course had no plans to meet the family friend. She went for other personal reasons.

What is more freaky is that Al Shabab sent one of her clan cousins (judging from the accent) to deliver this news to her.

And then Al Shabab tell her the day before she leaves Xamar that she did a good job listening to them.

Al Shabab intelligence I think is from the clan grapevine.
