According to our sources, the Somaliland minister of finance, Yusuf Mohamed Abdi, is in secret talks with his Somalian counterpart, Abdirahman Duale Beyle, , and the Somalian deputy prime minister, Mehdi Mohamed Guolid, regarding the possibility of harmonising their tax revenues and their financial architecture in order to meet the criteria of the World Bank (BM) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) or a reassessment of their debt and the granting of loans. This initiative would permit the Somalian federal government to allocate part of its loans to Somaliland, provided certain political agreements are reached. Yusuf Mohamed Abdi has held these talks with the Somalian prime minister (who is a relative of his) without informing his own president, Musa Bihi Abdi. Yusuf Mohamed Abdi's negotiations are calling into question Hargeisa's stated desire for autonomy in relation to Mogadishu.

It will be interesting if Somaliland will be the first federal member state who has a proper tax sharing agreement with the federal government.

We knew Jeegaan would become disorganized and crumble.

I was hearing this kind of stuff since 2013, it's all rumours. They even once said in 2014, Somalia agreed that they will accept anything Somaliland demands axcept the recognition, they said anything that uniting us again, even if it's the president, moving capital to Somaliland and everything else. But Somaliland turned down that over and said, 'We will never give up our ictiraaf dream'.

Somalilamd is better than 2014 today, UAE are investing Billions $$$, Saudi also came last week, in negotiating a new deal with Somaliland.

On the other hand Somalia is in their worst position since 2011, AS oo meelo badan dib ula wareegtay.

@Saalax Bidaar, Muse Bihi waa qofka ugu neceb Koonfut intii madaxweyne Somalilamd soo martay.

Our enemies are really very weak . They are busy with creating and spreading rumours while we are building our empire right under their nose. The biggest loosers are our internal enemies we control how they breath no matter how hard they try to free themselves from tyranny of the holy Republic. Somaliland is a sacred it's well protected by God . That is why our motto is Allaw dhawr.

Somalia has much bigger problems to deal with like destroying al shabaab but somehow want to integrate hargeisa back. Talk about misplaced priorities:farmajoyaab:

They've been attacking all of the other federal member states while Amisom still protects them while they pee. It was only a matter of time before they turned their attention towards you guys.

Somalia really gains nothing from extending ties to Somaliland, since it isn't Somalia who is isolated from the international community. Somaliland basically only has access to the NGOS that's if we are being real. It's SL who gains the most from uniting with Somalia, not the other way around. Somalia can develop rapidly and leave SL behind due to being isolated from the rest of the world and that is 'security' risk to them because they fear a 'strong' Somalia in general and it's even worse if they can't keep growing at the same rate and left behind, ma garatay?

We won't let somalia to be stable in any way . We have a lot of influence in their security through the 4.5 system, federal regions and the arsenal. Somalia is trying to destroy us but we already destroyed them in multiple ways .
