My University dorm mate just walked away from his Somali marriages last week. The major cause of the dissolution of the marriage was entirely based on greed and frivolous spending in part of the female partner. The lady refused to contribute to the household and wasted the mans hard earned money on trips with her female hen groups. I always told my mate to not get married or at least push it till he reached 30 but he didn't want to hear any of it. Misguided guy based it all on love and now the reality is setting in. I don't even know why he entertained a woman who was not going to contribute to the households bills.

It is a good lesson for him since he will learn from this.

My manliness is here. I just choose not to show it because I like to put on a girly facade on here. It brightens up this dreary monotonous tone on this site.

Women don't necessarily have to work. And most Somali households are low-income so it's not like there's much for the woman to be greedy with. If you have a good salary you can handle everything all on your own.

A lot don’t care, they’ll shame you for even mentioning bills or their spending and bring up the one Hadith they know about a wife’s rights over her husband

The guy is a university graduate and earns a decent income. She is a qualified teacher and earns a decent income too but imankey laa daheyy

Somali men need to move away from Somali women. They don’t raise their kids well and aren’t good in bed and are notoriously materialistic. I can’t think of one redeeming quality that they have. Also Their “beauty” Is overrated . Peel away the ibs of make up, strip them of their headscarf with which they conceal their massive foreheads and you will see their true image.
