Motion tabled against President Farmajo to impeach him from office

It has been brewing and the plotters were planning it for time.

Financing will come from the UAE to give to the parliamentarians. Jawaari wants to retain his speaker position,

MP‘s pressured by their states.

Motion is led by Puntland, Jubbaland, South West, Aala Sheikh and Hassan Sheekh Mahmud‘s Damjadiid.

At the forefront is Omar Abdirashid. Abdiwali Gaas wants him to be President so he can stay in Puntland were majority are no in opposition to him.

Ahmed Madoobe is supporting them.

Ethiopia has been laying the groundwork and want Hassan Sheikh to return.

Gaas flew to Mogadishu today as he has more interest in bringing Farmajo down than what is going on in his own state.

The stakes are set. It’s show time.

The dominant Kablalah or Mohamed Darood (Ogaden and MJ ) are trying to bring one of their fellow own to the top position and be President in place of Farmajo as they were the initiators of the motion and without them infeasible but it might back fire and the Presudency might fall to the Hawiye clan and Abgaal particularily.

I think Somali politics can be very divisive if left unchecked. I have seen good people raised by the best hooyos turned in raging qabyaalad promoting machine right in front of my eyes. I want to counter that and bring civility and normalcy back in to our siyaasad that we have neglected for so long. Fadhi ku dirir has corrupted elements within xeer law, a system of complex rules where feuding sides sat down under a tree until an agreement of peace was reached.

While I agree with you that politics will always be politics, I also believe we should raise the current standards and get behind good politicians by any peaceful means necessary.
