Our Blitzkrieg movement is shown on the map. 80% of Xarahere district is now under our control. The red circled villages are those we liberated. So as not to be encircled, we divided our forces in two and marched towards Xaradheere. We also have a third force that shadows the other two in any emergency and to protect supplies and allow quick reinforcements from Galkayo and Hobyo and to quickly take critically injured to hospital in Hobyo

You fear Al-shabab but we don't. To us they are nothing but thugs. We have the best troops in Somalia, who are highly skilled, professional and trained. Our troops are very experienced in warfare. Many of our commanders fought alongside Gen Mohamed Farah Aidiid. So we know what we are doing.

To minimize our causalities we are using US air support.
