Farmajo has been the best for Somaliland. He renagaded on agreements which now means Somalia is in a negotiating position where there has to be a gaurantor in any deal. He has also allowed Somaliland to be in a position to double down on demanding a referendum in talks.

Somalia has horrible negotiators but it makes sense when you read the comments of some of the delusional nationalists in this very thread. They think this is an L for SL and somehow a W for FGS 
these idiots get played way too much. SL will just hold debt relief hostage like Somalia holds recognition hostage. These agreements elevate SL to same status of the FG in Mogadishu. You can’t compare SL to states of Somalia like JL or PL or Galmudug who would never be able to do this even. Which also throws out the narrative that SL is accepting being a state of Somalia when they demanded things no other state has. Read between the lines this is just a stepping stone for SL.

Yeah the thing is in their case there is the factor of different ethnic groups, while the case of somaliland is well known by the ic. The dictator committed war crimes on the isaaq, somaliland established, sl civil war war crimes committed against other clans, bribery for territorial growth, fake democracy just like any other state in east africa.

No. once Somalia presents evidence that the SL "project" is a single clan dominating the political machine in that region and holding the people hostage with propaganda and militancy the house of cards will begin to fall.
