War is not nice thing it can lead to unexpected concequence as a leader u try to avoid it. Somaliland wants to be destination for investment especially after the dp world so the president doesn't want to send an image of war in somaliland. u have the right to take it as a weakness, war drains the economy, loss of life, refugees fleeing the war zone so the president has to consider all this factors may be he has decided is not worth fighting for that dry land.
