Ali Baxar, the new leader of the Awdal government in exile has been given a great welcome in DJIBOUTI.

This is an extraordinary shift in the politics of Northern Somalia and a sign the rumours of collaboration were true.

Ismail Omar Geele, the same man who betrayed his kin incurring his mother's inkaar and impeded the region for 33 years is now apparently talking with the region's leaders.

This comes after Djibouti recently blacklisted Somaliland officials including Biixi and freezing millions in assets in response to the MOU situation. In the past, Djibouti had been Somaliland's main sponsor in the region, giving them their passports for international use and access to finance, etc.

If this continues to develop, the geographic constraints that had blocked efforts in the region will cease to exist.

Actually it is quite extraordinary for him to move in any way beneficial to Awdal we are talking about a man who has such cuqdad that he changed the Djibouti curriculum to rewrite Gadabuursi heroes of independence like Haji Diide as being 'Arab'

Actually it is quite extraordinary for him to move in any way beneficial to Awdal we are talking about a man who has such cuqdad that he changed the Djibouti curriculum to rewrite Gadabuursi heroes of independence like Haji Diide as being 'Arab'

The only one who definitely gains from any kind of problem in the region is IOG. Everyone else's gain is depends on politics that might end up like SSc, going no where because Mogadishu is too congested with groups there fighting for influence.

There's nothing in Xamar for Somalilanders it seems.
