my brother beat a 16 years old

So apparently this little kid who used to go to my little sisters school was hollering at her and calling her all kind of names so my brother who was in a car heard him insulting her so.he so approach him and punch him in the face causing him nose bled after that the neighbourhood teenagers run out and beat the shit out of the kid.
I'm just scared if this affects my brother this is his first time.he ever did something like that
Do you think he will get charge for physical assault I don't think the boy had any serious injury and the police hasn't been call in the area.

as for weather they call the police or not none white typically do not call the police for this stuff even if they did what happend is minor he be fine

It happened couple of hours ago.
The kid is mix race his mum is white and father Asian.
It shook us all, especially my mum who had to stop the fight.
We just scared the cops showing our house since it happened in front of our house the kid knows my sister very well.

How old is your brother? They would've usually called right away since time passed you can breath easier the more time passes the less likely they will call cops. I don't think you or your brother have anything to worry about I don't think you did much damage to him

I don't think the other family would call the cops if their kid started the fight. But since couple of hours already have passed I dont think they will call the cops so you should not worry.
