My observation on my Mall of America Outing

20 years vs today, More Somalis were visible in Mall of America. I saw young youth, look really westernized. Boyz have long hair, and girls basically remain conservative, wearing Hijaabs. I also saw an uptick of Farahs coming with their wives and children. High uptick actually. I also saw lots of Single fathers with their boys/kids shop around. Overall, it seems very positive image of Somalis in Minnesota. 20 years ago-- seeing one somali here and there was common. But today, its like i could see at least 20 Somalis in one go at a Mall outing.

I noticed that too. Somali people have taken over the food court. I personally just use amazon now. No point of mall’s.

Me and Malls are best friends forever. The only time i will stop going to the mall is when i become too much ayeeyo where my beauty mashalaah has disappeared in the horizon. Then i will wear a burkha covering face, only eyes peaking, and still go to the mall

I would like to visit mall of America once in my life, i know it's huge. It's odd though that the largest mall is in somewhere like Minnesota of all places.
