Extremely lazy, You could have tried to analyzed the video and broken down the main points so we dont have to waste all that time watching a video. This is why your posts don't get many hits imo :ohno:

Only my threads on religion, race and making Somalis look bad get the hits and page views (look at page 1 and 2 of the general forum for half a dozen examples).

My threads that are actually about something educational or news related don't because you people have low IQ.

I laff evrytime :cryinglaughsmiley:

No grasshopper you misunderstood me. People do not respond very well to videos unless its an interesting one. What you could do is actually understand the video and present it in your own words,(preferably easy ones since we have such low IQ's) And THAT way, hopefully a discussion can start from it. Cause what it seems like now is youre letting this cadaan speak on a subject you dont fully understand yourself and that could throw some people off.

Just my 2 cents

Those who hate the free market are the ones who don't understand it. Free enterprise capitalism is the only economic system that can lift millions of people out of abject poverty in such a short timespan.

I know how to start a discussion. You're talking to AbdiJohnson here. I'm a master at that. There's no incentive for me to start a discussion about this topic. I just found it interesting and know a few people would enjoy watching it. I knew it wasn't going to be a hit thread of the day and it wasn't my intention.

I will only provide input or analysis in threads when I want to see a pack of wild hyenas appear with their mouths foaming. That's my entertainment.

For once we agree.

Capitalism is the best economic system but only when opportunities are present for all and the game is not rigged by those at the top. This is why some government intervention is needed such as market regulations (like protection against insider trading) or even something we take for granted such as the government providing education for the people. A dirt poor peasant's son who is given the opportunity to go to school by the government might end up studying hard in his childhood and get a full university government scholarship and then end up starting the next Twitter. Without the government providing an education at an early age and rewarding his hard work with a scholarship, the dirt poor peasant's son would still be shining shoes and so would his children and his grand children. It would be a cycle.

The government plays a very important role in providing the opportunity needed to succeed in a capitalist system.

As the Salafi atheist said, you also need regulation in the market and that kind of defeats the purpose of a completely ''free'' market. In essence, there isn't such thing as a free market because government always played a pivotal role for many enterprises through regulation, protectionism and investment. The best system is IMHO used in Western-European countries where they use the mix of capitalism and socialism ( Scandinavian model) and it works increasingly better than the Anglo-Saxon model that America and the UK uses.
