The problem here is people like to separate social media and real life as if they're mutually exclusive things and not 'real' people liking these posts. It wont get us lynched on the streets but they will reinforce negative ideas about a small group , but for some reason this concept is too difficult for you to understand or to process, maybe my expectation was too high for you.

This will die down. And Somalis aren’t Indians, we are black negroes most of these trolls wouldn’t make eye contact with in real life. All I am saying is that be goal and solution orientated. Everyday “ they said this about Somalis, oh my god”, yet you don’t tell us how to combat this.

The hate would have been easy to ignore if most of us had great incomes and literally didn't have to share spaces with these ignorant people. We still have a lot of low income somalis that are stuck living around a bunch of ignorant people.

This and the home envrionment was not good either (although I dont blame the hooyos), overcrowding, PTSD a lack of english contributed to them not being able to help Gen Z will be the community to fix this god willing
