I sincerly doubt most of them know about Somalis. They just copy and repost the same content from other accounts and rack up millions of views. What blows my mind is how the same type of tweets keep going viral over and over again. You can't tell me the algorithm hasn't been played with here.

For us its twitter thats the problem, tiktok is more fair i see pro somali posts go just as viral as the mean ones, if we could nuke twt that would be amazing but tiktok is ok

tiktok is defo worse than twitter. Every viral hate from tiktok goes straight to instagram. It's an uncontrolled app and I wish I saw positive things to do with somalis other than the promotion of our food which is cool I guess and also our humour other than that I don't see much, but than again i did delete tiktok recently for my mental health since the hate has reached worse than Indians best decision ever.
