This clown is Qatar stooge, he was ambassador to turkey and we know who they are!!! The guy was also vehemently against UAE as defence minister. Basically got the Qataris and Turks or the MB running Mogadishu plus they own the internal education and economic lifelines there also. You got the UAE running the regions at the top level but the brotherhood also owns them internally. Bosaso for example it's all brotherhood universities, telecoms, you name it.!!! Hargeisa houses shabab which says alot about it's strength locally.

UAE is going to struggle in the regions, the only thing they can hope is the brotherhood is divided into tribal interests which they are across Somalia and not one big group but fractured into tribal dynamics.

DR OSMAN who do you support the radicals saudia arabia or the secularists turkey?

Long-term wise? Brotherhood definitely. They have 3 dimensional attack system. Turks do their development and charity to win hearts and mind. Qatar does funding and retirement homes for leaders and possibly other logistics and training. Egypt holds the idealogy and founder and is huge there also.

Goal - Penetrate western world either internally or thru terrorism and nowadays they seem to use BOTH. Pound them while working in the inside. They seem a bit off strategy though by what their founder wanted. Founder wanted first all muslim states united spain to indonesia and through that then decide best method to attack the west, if they have the force it will be force, if they don't it will be terrorism with a mix of sending business-men out into america and start buying key lifelines.

Saudi arabia problem plus the gulf is their tyrants, only building their loot, palaces, ferraris, only have a friendship with america because they need something the second the americans dont need them, these guys will fall immediately. Their not a good investment at all as we know where these type of people end up.

Look at the shah, when you don't have the people support at the ground level and being kept in power from the top level which is identical to the gulf, the second the guy keeping you at the top walks away, you fall plus anyone connected to you like PL/SL.

The reason the brotherhood will last is cause it aint about mutual interest or I need something from you type of friendship. Mutual interest friendships ends eventually, that's why they say politics has no friends I guess, because once their is no interest there, friendships change.

But idealogical friendship do not change, that's a friend for life. We need to jump on-board of the MB idealogical friendship, it's kinda similar to the west freedom friendship, it's above mutual interest that and a friendship for life because it's an ideology.

We however make friends with people based on mutual interests not so much idealogical which is why we keep either hitting the ground so hard through-out our history. You can't make friends on that stuff. We need to separate our friends those who are interests and those who are not and deal with each DIFFERENTLY.

May Allah bless and preserve President farmaajo Puntland is behind the federal government in Mogadishu and the federal government in Mogadishu hasn’t cut ties with uae and the federal constitution allows Puntland to enter into agreement with corporations to develope their lands. Since Puntland is somalia first federal state which was formed before the federal government in Mogadishu today.

What do you think of the port deal in bosaso and what your opinion regarding president Abdiweli Gaas visit to uae recently to make amends? And who’s Puntland biggest support in the war against terrorism since Puntland has the longest coastline who supports Puntland navy?

In all honesty, I can't see that port deal going through. For what? is the investment worth the returns? Has PL secured any big clientele? I mean I can understand that port expanding if oil for example was being shipped of it or something but just domestic trade, I doubt it. But you never know.

Djibouti got it's port built cause of Ethiopian trade. Somaliland well I can't see how the investment is worth it also. Ethiopia will play berbera against djibouti since it's the only major client both are fighting for so prices will go down and may result in each port being used seasonally as back-up for ethiopians when they fail to come to an agreement with the current port it's using.

This deal is definitely in ethiopian favor not djibouti or somaliland at all. It will play it's two es off each other till prices become so low, it won't be worth it anymore for either berbera or djibouti. Plus it will be so unreliable the trade they can't ever develop as they won't know how long ethiopia will keep using it's port. It's a nightmare!!!!

The deal has already happened, only the tender is left. There's two companies left according to Abdiweli so we will know soon. Puntland is not targeting Ethiopian trade it's the trade that comes through the Gulf of Aden that's important. You need to think a generation ahead if you want to realize the potential there.
