North Korea: Infrastructure, City Planning, Roads, Subways/Railroads

Despite North Koreas faults, their infrastructure in Pyongyang seems very nice and clean. It's amazing how they are able to build and develop their cities with limited resources, no help, and being the most sanctioned nation on the planet. You don't see a single piece of trash on the ground or broken roads either. Say what you want about them but indhayare really know how to be self reliant

I mean they are no different to South Koreans, both have high IQ so it makes sense, if they could get rid of their oppressive leadership, they could become great.

yeah, they are less americanized South Koreans, but to fair North Korea was doing better than the South until the mid 80s. They would probably be doing well if they didn't have nukes and opened up their doors, that would lessen sanctions and allow for a slow unification with the South. North Korea and South Korea both know they realistically have to unify due to the Souths demographic collapse, the threat of China, and the untapped resources of the North. They are interesting people. The North has done a lot with the little they've been given.

imagine what North Korea could accomplish if they got African levels of International Aid?

Peaceful but seems like an unhappy place, how developed are the other cities?
They are somewhat developed from what I've seen. the 2nd largest city Nampo looks like a smaller version of the capital. It even has a huge Dams, Powerplants, and Ports that the North Koreans built without any help from anyone else. I recently just found out they even built the largest stadium in the world.

I see, what the hell is wrong with that road though, very bumpy

I think due to this place not being the capital the roads aren't the best. I wonder what would happened if they spent less money on their nuclear projects and more on the non-capital cities. I mean they did a good job with dams, ports and railways for other cities but they could probably do way more if they werent invested so much in nuclear weapons

And what has international aid done for Africa? Nothing. Iran and North Korea don’t need aid, they just need sanctions to be lifted and they’ll develop into first world countries.
