Summary: Nutritional intake in early life has a direct effect on brain development and determines intellectual capacity in later life. Basically a starved/malnourished child's brain wont develop properly. The difference can be as large as a 20% reduction in IQ for people who were malnourished during early development.
This data explains so much and explains why Somalia has it's issues compared to it's better fed neighbours. It also explains the abundance of psychiatric issues within our community.
I advise all of you to ensure your tuulo prioritieses feeding your children and newborns a nutritious and well balanced diet to avoid producing brain damaged adults.
