Hargeisa Orphanage Centre (HOC) is located in Hargeisa, which is the capital of Somaliland.
HOC houses up to 400 children, teenagers and young adults. HOC is running in tough post-war society, battling world leading unemployment-rates and vast poverty.
What HOC needs support for basic necessities like food, clothing, housing and education.
HOC does offer the possibility of child adoption. Currently a vast majority of young girls are adopted, while the boys a left to spend their entire upbringing in the orphanage, some as long as 20+ years.
