I thought you were knowledgeable of American politics. Iowa caucuses are useless for Republicans. Its pre season. Santorum and Huckabee won the Iowa caucuses in 2012 and 2008. I think Bush was the last Republican to win Iowa who ended up being the Republican candidate in 2000. Whoever wins the Iowa caucuses ends up losing the nomination statistically speaking.
