Omanis Explaining Daarood History

Somalis say Daar OOD means Daar or a building and ood means like a wall or compound kinda similar to how somali homes have an ood in all towns. It can be either a masjid or castle(kingdom) Apparently a darod legacy left behind on Somalis.
Others say Daar ood means Dawud or in Somali Daawad or in English David which references David, Solomon and their kingdom in Israel. That's why they say u find Solomonic names like Salebaan referencing Solomonics
