Harar is a historical somali city, we need to add it to the somali state. This is good news.

Harar shouldn't even be a regional state when a) the ethnic Hararis (who are amazing) that have had this state created in their name are not even in the two largest ethnic groups within Harar state paradoxically
and b) there are some ethnic groups in Ethiopia eg Wolayta and Gurage that are each more populous than Hararis but don't have their own state

Wolayta are pushing for a regional state. After sidama left pretty much all of the SNNPR wants it’s own regional state

Actually i prefer it this way. Harar is now a shared city between oromos,hararis and somalis. Harar is also a historical town and UNESCO world heritage, we don't need fighting in Harar. An autonomous special zone for them makes sense to avoid conflicts between different ethnicities

Better in my opinion if Harar just became a federal city like Addis and Dire Dawa

I disagree, we already have enough lands to ourselves; let Harari's be the custodians of Harar. We only need to get back Dire Dawa.
