One major danger is Oromos migrating to Raxanweyn territory. Raxanweyn is a confederation and they can easily assimilate them. The riverine areas, mainly the Shabelle Valley are vunerable to Madowification. Afgooye is an example. Middle Juba has plenty of Madows. Kismayo has Madows who even speak Swahili. Madows also speak Maay Maay in Kismayo but at least you can easily recognize a Madow's Somali and a Somali's Somali.

Why are you guys worried about Somali Bantus when Oromos are the real threat? They are the largest ethnic group in East Africa. Somali Bantus are not really a threat.

The Bantu population in Somalia is reaching the level of the Tamil minority in Sri Lanka (about 25% of the population there). Once a minority become a quarter of the population, and if they are mistreated, that's when armed rebellions start. Somalia's case might be different because many of the people called "Bantu" who live on the coast and the farming areas rarely had a cohesive identity, before they used to just identify with whatever village they lived in instead of seeing themselves as a block, but that might be changing as the Bantu start to identity more as a block and develop an identity based on resentment and victimhood (at least that's what the diaspora Bantus are doing, not sure about the ones back in Somalia).

I am hoping to see more ethnic and religious diversity in Somalia. I'm not really sure why some fetishize uniformity, it's not like that's helped Somalia (although Somalia being 'homogenous' has always been more myth than fact).
