Oromos in the thousands joined the union of islamic courts in 2006 along with many kenyans and tanzanians so it's no secret oromos are part of shabab.

I had to disagree with you in some points like for past centuries we Somalis were in defence only. We lost Oromo expansion in sense Adal sultanate had fallen because of them. Same we stood firm against Bantu expansion that reached Kenya but today we will lose due our fight about hawiye Darood Isaaq. Bantu will outnumber us while we busy in our tribal wars and Oromo are moving to SL/PL. we are tossed as Somali race.
