I dunno about percentages but there are a lot of them in the north. In every town they tend to have a presence and entire neighborhoods to themselves in the major ones like Hargeisa and Bosaso.

Truly... Even the Bantus people on here speak of like they're a plague to Somalia. Most of the ones I met back home were hardworking, honest people. They often did the laborious jobs Geeljires didn't wanna do. The same applies to Oromos.

They're definitely our "enemies" along the frontiers in Ethiopia but it's a different issue when they're minorities in Somalia. I've noticed they commonly become sheegato there or just work menial jobs and mind their business or use Somalia as a spring-board for migrating elsewhere.
