Oromo Lady Kidnaps Somali Child from Puntland

an Oromo Lady that is accused of stealing a 5 year old Somali girl from Bander Beyla district which is on the Indian Ocean region of Puntland two years ago when the child was 3 years old.

The Oromo lady has been caught with the child in the city of Burco in Somaliland, which is over 500km away from Bander Beyla.

The Somali woman who says that it's her daughter went after the Oromo lady to the city of Burco, requesting the Somaliland Police to give her child back. But Somaliland Police denied to give the somali child back to the somali mother, and said that the Oromo lady is also claiming to be the mother of the child.

So now they went to a local UN Clinic in Burco to look at the child's DNA and compare with the two ladies who are both claiming to be the childs mother.



Family members of the Somali lady in Puntland out of anger kidnapped 4 heavy trailer trucks that belong to businessman in Somaliland today at the border region of Puntland and Somaliland. Accusing the Somaliland Authorities of wrongfully holding onto a child of Puntland out of tribalism, and instead of believing the Puntland parents are believing the claims of the lady who is accused of stealing the child.

And the matter is intensifying now, since people are now turning the situation into a conflict of puntland & somaliland.


one Oromo lady is causing all this chaos and havoc, and that is if she actually stole the child.

Nope it is Oromo woman criminal who stole the kid but SL government should send these Oromo back to their country oromia.
