People of color are complaining about not being recognized at the Academy awards also known as the Oscars. My biggest shock or surprise was straight outta Compton was snubbed, Michael B Jordan was also snubbed while Sylvester Stallone was nominated for the movie creed. Idris Elba was also snubbed for his role in beasts of no nation. While the mediocre ditzy Jennifer Lawrence was nominated for her role in the movie joy. Of course Leonardo Dicaprio won't be getting that Oscar. He should go to the George Clooney route, settle down, have couple of babies and then maybe, he might win. The keyword is maybe people!

Maybe the Blacks should focus on creating their own Awards ceremony and stop obsessing over what some White film critics think. They already have the BET Awards Ceremony, so they should create and cultivate their own entertainment industry and stop focusing on what Whites think of them.

That's the problem with them. They're always seeking White approval. SMH
