What would Somalia look like today if Siad Barre chosen the osmanya alphabet instead of the crap Latin to write in Af Soomaali.

I like the osmanya script but we already write things in Arabic too. Sign posts would be too confusing.

my cousins in kismayo learnt arabic in school they know standard arabic very well.

You moved the goalposts, @Yahya said we "already write things in arabic" ie on signs and currency. Adding a 3rd script like Osmanya would be too confusing.
I thought he was saying we write in Arabic script. I know too well we use Arabic as it's a co-official language in Somalia.
I think we should remove Arabic from our country,currency and constitution aswell and replace it with osmanya. Only Somali language should be the official language of the country nothing else
