I know Osmanya has become the most popular alternative script for Somalis, but it annoys me when someone misuses it

E.g. forgetting to use the strained vowel letters (𐒖 versus 𐒛), or transliterating English words instead of af-soomaali

I wish it came back but it's too late. Unless the Somali government is serious in introducing it to the new generation.

Osmanya has the potential to resurge as well as wadaad our historical script. I wouldn’t mind either I think introducing osmanya now would be great for future generations tho imagine Somalis in the year 3000 using osmanya. It would be great to preserve it in the future for National pride

Very low honestly, most people who do use it use english to osmanya generators for display names etc

I personally learnt it recently for fun

Good for you. I wouldn't mind learning it since it's a part of our history. I hope one day government enforces schools to teach Osmania script.
