how about sewer systems, waste management and drivable roads, somalis are building these hotels and malls for a quick buck but how are people going to go there with the current roads

inshallah it will, but these businessmen should invest in other helpful and profitable projects like say a waste management company, instead of the oversaturated mall business they'd have less competition and can provide a real need

We need to re-shape our cities and plan better ones. The roads are poorly built and cities need a better management. I suggest we should use the Roman-like style of towns.

And also planning of building long-lasting roads, instead of malls and hotels.

This should be the standard of our futur towns, and then we will create our own towns. Before that, we should be more influenced by the Western-like and roman cities!

I don't know if we should follow roman towns, there are probably more effective city plans that are more efficient, but yea there are plenty of jobs available in Somalia basically building cities from scratch, we should get on these opportunities, business wise to every company you see in the west isn't back home, you can plagiarize and bring these same kind of products back home, this would be better than foreign products because it keeps the money in Somali hands who can also reinvest into the country, you should think about all the things we have here in the west even the things we take for granted and try to recreate it back home.

Exactly! these guys knew how to build and up until today, we can still find some not-that-destroyed old roman towns! but we can't find a single well preserved somali city. We need to invest in re-organising the urban towns and little villages and big cities. I will do it !

You can't stop where Somalis invest their money that's what a free market is they'll put their money where its they'll make a profit currently that's Hargeisa but that needs to spread too full up

How about all Somalis come together and refuse paying taxes

Like for example car tax 60$ And you gather a group of people like 5000

That right there is 300k of tax money

And until the government build roads or do some changes they won’t pay taxes
