I called the insurance company for them. Let me give you the back story.

They bought a home in a shady neighborhood so they can flip the house. They first rented out to a lunatic Geeljire dude with his madoow wife. They then had to evict him. Just last week the house was partially burned.

Now they came to me to speak to the the insurance agent. Insurance agent hit them with a bombshell. Apparently, instead of paying for a home insurance they were for paying an auto insurance

The couple have been in this country for 27 years.
No excuse not to speak English confidently. The wife came here at 19.

Would you give them a pass on this or do you condemn them?

I got so pissed.

On top of that they’ve got grown kids...ages 19 and 23 but the wife says to me “they can’t be trusted with these kind of matters “.

I thought I was harsh when I said to them “ you know your Safia can do it”.

it is disturbing to see that they rendering their adult child disabled.

Safia to me is articulate when I talk to her. I was suspicious that she could be cognitively delayed but I had talks with her numerous times and she’s calm and collected. I don’t get it.

I can understand why some older fob Somalis in Europe don't speak local languages like Swedish, Dutch, Danish etc. As it is quite easy to live in a bubble and avoid those languages entirely despite living in those countries.

But.. older fob diaspora Somalis who don't know English... English..!! the lingua franca of the world with the most movies, entertainment material, books, websites etc.?? I don't get that.

Zero sympathy. They can buy and own a property but can’t speak the language enough to sort their affairs!?! They should be deported to badiye where they belong. Smh

This is pathetic! I admire they're trying to get into real estate that's alot more than most useless Somalis, even the home insurance, if you've never been a homeowner english or not you cant know everything unless you do your research, I know cadaans that dont even know how a mortgage works.

If their kids aren't any use then it's the parents fault no one else. Or maybe the kids are capable but the parents dont respect that they can help.
