In honour of our new foriegn user @Nilotic and our old foriegn use @Molotoff ive decided to deduce the height between our different ethnic groups.
Anthropometric study on immigrant populations
So we start off with the average height of a qaxooti who came from Somalia and now resides in Finland (note this study had the highest sample size which is why I'm using it).
which according to this is 174.5 cm
Other studies were within the standard deviation of this result but the sample size makes this one the most accurate. Average height in Somalia should be 174.5 cm which is generally 1-2 centimetres shorter than Anglo nations like Australia/UK/NZ.
Anthropometric measurements of the Nilotic tribes in a refugee camp
The mean height, weight and body mass index [BMI = weight(kg)/the square of height(m2)] of men (N = 1,1618) were 175.9 + 9 cm) (+/- SD), 59.7 +/- 8 kg, and 19.4 +/- 2, respectively, and those of women (N = 615) were 169.0 +/- 7 cm, 54.0 +/- 8 kg, and 19.1 +/- 3, respectively. The mean height of Dinka men (176.4 +/- 9 cm) and Nuer men (175.7 +/- 9 cm) were significantly higher than that of Anuak men (171.7 +/- 8 cm) and Shilluk men (172.6 +/- 6.1 cm). The Nuer women's mean height, weight and BMI were significantly lower than those of the other tribes'. This study confirms that the Nilotics in Southern Sudan have slender bodies and are amongst the tallest in the world, and may attain greater height if priviledged with favourable environmental conditions during early childhood and adolescence, allowing full expression of the genetic material.
Your average Dinka man is (+1.9) centimetres (6 mm off of an inch) taller than your average Somali and your average nuer man is only (+1.2) centimetres taller. Meanwhile the Anuak (-2.8cm/1 inch) and Shilluk (-1.9 cm) were slightly shorter than your average Somali male. Bear in mind all the heights listed here are heavily affected by malnutrition and wars. If we were a South Sudanese ethnic group we'd be the 3rd tallest and the middle of the pack.
I will admit this data is confusing when contrasted with this. @Nilotic were some Nilotic qabils just harder hit by the war? That's some strange variation.
Height measurements taken in 1954 suggest they're more than likely taller than 5'11 in good conditions, which ridiculously massive. To put this into perspective the average height in Europe back then was 5'7.
Only historical take we have for Somali's is this which is probably an exaggeration seeing as Somalia was underdeveloped back then.
this description was created by anthropology obssesed British weirdos for those of you who want to know what's up with the weird language and terminology.
Now onto reer @Molotoff
Due to limitations on the various data I can find I'm going to have to go back pretty far for a comparison between Bosnia and Somalia
In the year 1880 your average Somali male stood at 172.8 centimetres (this would later drop during the colonial era then rise back up before there's no data) meanwhile your average German was 167.9 centimetres
@kazahk_nomad or whatever you were called the highest recorded data for the steppe mooryaans was 165 cm
Bosnian soldiers in the Austro-Hungarian army in 1895 were 172.4 cm tall [3].
Your average Somali in the year 1880 is (+0.4) mm taller than a Bosnian in the year 1895. Very similar but we have zero idea of what conflicts or events were going on so data could be false.
Now onto the current height of our Dinaric friends
Una-Sana (180.9 cm), Tuzla (181.1 cm) and Zenica-Doboj (180.8 cm), through remarkably high values in Central Bosnia (182.1 cm) and up to very high numbers in the cantons of Herzegovina-Neretva (184.4 cm) and Sarajevo (184.6 cm). The latest anthropometric study in BiH was performed in 2014–2015
Depending on the region they varies from 5'11 to 6'0 making it one of the tallest places on earth.
Nilotes: + 6'0
Somali's:????? Comparative population data suggests 5'11 to 6'0
Bosnia&H: 5'11-6'0
Kazakhstan: 5'7-8
Bear in mind this is a crap way to find out height. an actual height measurement survey would be better but this is all we got for the moment.

Roberts and Bainbridge reported the average height of 182.6 cm (5 ft 11.9 in) in a sample of 52 Dinka Agaar and 181.3 cm (5 ft 11.4 in) in 227 Dinka Ruweng measured in 1953–1954

The men are generally six feet in height, and all have the most regular white teeth. The Somali are generally tall and well made, with a very dark smooth skin; their features express great intelligence and anima- tion, and are of a Grecian type, with thin lips and aquiline noses ; their hair is long, and very thick.
