Painfully average women who think they’re hot

Has anyone run into these types? Girls you know who are at best average complaining about how hot they are and how many guys want them all the time. They don’t seem to understand that every woman gets male attention but will go on and on about how guys wants them all the time.

I knew a girl like that and I had to cut things off with her because I was tired of hearing everyday about a random guy checking her out at Walmart, or how much her boss wants to sleep with her. It’s fine to tell me once in awhile about a guy that was asking for your number or something, but when it’s so constant I will get tired. I don’t want to hear about how many men want you every single day.

And the funny thing is, these girls are never actually pretty.

I think it’s an insecurity, but I don’t understand how they think it won’t come back to bite them. This girl I knew who told everyone about how the guys in our class had a thing for her, and word got back to them about what she said. They tore her apart and shit talked her looks. I actually felt bad for her.
