What is it we practically can do to make any meaningful improvement for the locals?
Based on my observation, the Palestinian cause is getting more attention and support by Muslims than any other cause, including other wars in Muslim countries.
I don't understand their sentiments. Maybe, they're referring to Arab/Muslim leaders, but calling out 'the ummah' like this is unwarranted.

Wtf do they expect somalia to do? We got our problems. We can send charity and aid but thats it really.

Who oppresses Somalis? Why would we have the same energy when they are getting genocided and have to live in an apartheid state that made them refugees and drove them out of their land?
I can go anywhere in Somalia not worrying about anything other than a fellow Somali. Sounds like freedom to me. Something Palestinians can’t relate to unfortunately.
Our situations are vastly different and people need to stop throwing coon words at others that can see that difference.
Palestinians are thinking of Egypt, Jordan, and the gulf when they make those cries. States that can collectively put pressure on Israel.
Recognizing nuance is important in these situations, there obviously not talking about the parts of the ummah that are poor.
Ummah exists. As long as there’s Muslims, it will continue to exist, even when it’s not as strong. We mourn the dead and pray for them.
May Allah ease the unimaginable pain all their loved ones feel. They might have not had hope in outside people but I hope they died hoping for Allah’s rahma.

Muslims: please don’t let these events demoralize you. These gaalo want your spirit to be broken. Psychology warfare is also happening. Realize, dunya is not the eternal Jannah. We will be tested. Try to strengthen your iimaan during these times.
