Parents treating boys and girls different

Some girls here have complained about doing all the house work. But sometimes the guys do the physical work like fixing broken stuff or carry heavy stuff or fix computers. It's still not completely equal but everyone is doing something.

Am I missing something?

hooyos baby their sons too much saxib and everyone knows it. the way a functional somali family works is the mother works with the daughter and babys the son while the father is heavily strict towards the son and is more lax towards the daughter. problem is alot of diaspora familys only have a mother

Wallahi my hoyoo treat me like a baby who has no brain . I hate it wallahi it facts. We get babied to much it disgusting. My sisters were always treated like adults while my mom treats me and my brothers like kids. Its shocking wallahi and gotta change asap

same here but i always had my brothers and dad to straighten me out when I needed it. I have no sisters but i remember when i would go to my cousins house. my female cousin was cleaning the house and reading quran and all that while the dude was always playing xbox with me

In my family, my mother was harder on me in comparison to my brother but my father babied me while being hard on my brother. It balances out when it is a stable two parent household.
