Perception of Somalis

People of SSPOT, has this website changed your perception of Somalis in any way?

If so what did you learn, that you didn't already know before joining this website?

I had no idea young people cared about qabil let alone felt so strongly about it. I though somali net was full of 40 year old jobless fobs so i expected it from them, but seeing people born post civil war even as late as the early 2000s being so hateful is shocking :bell:

Made me understand why my parents didn't talk or teach me anytthing about qabiils my whole life. Some people here honestly need to seek medical help cause the hatred they hold is unbelievable.

Yeah i'm surprised 2, young people who have never stepped foot in Somalia are using hateful words 60 year old odays with severe cuqdad from the civil war use.

Exactly the thread that was about UK vs US malis that turned into a darood vs isaaq war shocked me. I also thought that qabil didn't interest the younger generation.

The obsession with mixed race relationship is something that surprised me, most people IRL don’t care who a stranger marries.

With all the banter it's an L for them to see a Somali marrying out so it gets brought up and reflected here.

Seeing a lot of people getting triggered about what another person does with their life baffles me. Who cares?

It really doesn’t concern younger Somalis ( excluding fobs), sspot is just a place to get your trolling off and trigger people, in reality Somalis under the age of 30 in the west could care less. I have countless friends who don’t know what qabil they are and they’re grown asf.

Same, none of my friends really care about qabil. I mean, it's what destroyed our country. Are we really stupid enough to seriously engage in that?

Why? I don't think women care seeing Somali men marrying other ethnicities.
:umwhat:

Some men on this forum are disgusting the way they talk about women and their Somali sisters. :uCkf6mf:
