and if you look at it, puntland will raise 93 million but will get in total 253 million from various aide agencies and even Somali government, majority is world bank, UN etc,

so even if you get the 346 million, about 73% is coming from charities like UN agencies, world bank etc, meaning about 27% only is expected to actually be raised by puntland (93/346x100= 26.8% let say 27% will come from puntland

i even doubt if federal somali gov gives puntland a single cent, strongly doubt it, so why is puntland expecting money from farmajo?

@PhySom their so behind bro. They don't understand politics/economies is philosophy, their multiple approaches and philosophies to it. It's not concrete. I am suprised Somalis study such fields unless it's in 'mathamatical area'. We need more concrete thinkers in Somalia who don't waste time in proving their philosophy. I mean look at airplanes, there isn't multiple ways to flight an airplane. It's concrete, it's factual, it's mathamatical, and it's not up for debate world wide.

U can say this of all STEM fields. I encourage Puntites to pursue STEM fields and 'cut' thru the 'philosophical subjects like economics and politics'. Leave a real mark on the world in terms of 'innovation' at least your directing your time towards something that has no 'debate' about it. The only thing about the concrete science is it can 'evolve' and change with new theories which is the great thing about 'mathamatic' field as all u need to learn is the 'language' of maths like equations and algebra and how to present it but the rest is just tackling real world problems like how to increase the payload of drone without affecting the 'accuracy and flight'. U go thru the equations and start playing around with the properties and numbers. I am not mathamatician, but I do Technology. This stuff is very concrete when it comes to technical aspect, there is no two ways about it like economies or politics.

That's why IT is done the same world wide. I love it, don't u. I can get a job anywhere in the world since the principles are the same. Why should those consumer goods be purchased in what is presumably an independent, foreign, sovereign nation when they can easily be produced locally?

You are not producing state of the art technology. It's household items which can be produced and retailed for the exact same price if not lower (given transportation costs) and employ local people. The purpose of the tax is to allow local companies to start producing these products and employ local people. Furthermore these products are not produced in Somaliland they are mostly imported from Ethiopia.

PL doesn't need Hamar or Hargeisa. Why do people ignore this? I never see Puntites interfering or hiding in anyone mountains or going around causing clan wars in any district outside of PL border. Yes correct, but the only state was using it was PL. SL and xamaar used to add money aid to cover local income so their citizens will not start asking. Prove of it now PL start to give money on time not like Gaas iyo Faroole time.

Maybe Xamar but Somaliland govt budget comes from tax revenue only. If they added all the different kinds of foreign aid & investment it would be much higher. UAE aid to SL alone is more than 300m

PL finance minster did mention about the same aid comes to Puntland but didn't add them in the budget example we know UAE give money to PL for bossaso port and airport. If we add it will be bigger.
